Donald Wrye melodramatic tearjerker Ice Castles comes to DVD with a widescreen anamorphic transfer that preserves the original theatrical aspect ratio of 1.85:1. English, Spanish, French, and Portuguese soundtracks are rendered in Dolby Digital Stereo. Subtitles are accessible in all four of those languages as well as Chinese, Korean, and Thai. Supplemental materials include trailers. This Columbia/TriStar release does a fine job of presenting the film, which will satisfy fans.
