The sixth season of NYPD Blue makes way for the arrival of Detective Danny Sorenson (Rick Schroder as he goes about filling the shoes of former Detective Bobby Simone (Jimmy Smits). In addition to adjusting to life with Sorenson, the NYPD crew contends with health issues, relationship drama, and their never ending quest to fight crime in the New York City streets.
