This powerful and disturbing independent drama about an unlikely romance between a soldier and a transgendered nightclub performer (which is based on a true story) has been given a beefed-up presentation for its release on DVD. Soldier's Girl has been transferred to disc in the full-frame aspect ratio of 1.33:1. The original English-language soundtrack has been presented in two mixes, one on Dolby Digital Stereo and the other in Dolby Digital 5.1, while an alternate Spanish-dubbed track appears in Dolby Digital Stereo. The feature is also closed captioned in English.
